Job summary

MTrec Limited in the Newburn area is offering a permanent day shift role focused on forklift operation and general labouring. Expect a split between FLT duties and manual handling with opportunities to progress after a probation period.

The job includes 28 days holiday, onsite parking, and access to excellent transportation links, with no weekend work and a standard Monday-Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid external counter balance forklift licence (in-house or expired licences cannot be used).
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job.
• Confidence on the job and readiness to take on more responsibility if needed.
• Open to progressing to a permanent position after probation.

Responsibilities

• Manually loading and unloading machinery.
• Operate a counter balance forklift truck.
• Load and unload wagons with a counterbalance forklift and move materials within dispatch.
• Role will be a 50% labouring and 50% FLT driving mix.
• Assist with general process tasks and moving materials from machinery to production area.
• Brush and tidy areas as required and move materials around the warehouse.

• Friday 08:00 am - 14:30 pm

The Jobs You'll Do

• Manually loading and unloading machinery

• Operation a counter balance forklift truck

• Loading and unloading wagons with a counterbalance and transporting materials within the dispatch

• The role will be a mixture of FLT driving and labouring

• Involved in general process work including transporting materials from machinery to production area

• Brushing and tidying area's ensuring area's

• Labouring and transporting materials around the warehouse

• The role was 50% labouring / 50% FLT driver

About You;

• Must have a valid external counter balance forklift truck licence (unfortunately in house or expired licences cannot be used at this current time)

• A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job

• Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary

• Should be comfortable working towards a permanent position after a successful probation period
