Job summary

MTrec Limited in Peterlee is recruiting for a role based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, maintain clean and safe working areas, and help move materials around the warehouse on a permanent day shift.

The role requires experience with counterbalance forklifts, a focus on quality, and the ability to work independently or in a team to meet production targets. Immediate start offered and onsite parking available.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Able to follow high standards of housekeeping and safety.
• Physically fit for heavy products and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas to required housekeeping standards.
• Operate counterbalance forklift to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Accurately maintain plant records and data sheets.
• Load and unload wagons using a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Assist in transporting materials with a forklift and ensure correct PPE is worn.

• MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Peterlee area.

The Job You’ll Do;

• Maintain all areas to the required standards of housekeeping
• Operation of a counterbalance forklift truck licence for transporting materials within the warehouse
• Accurately maintain full plant records and data sheets
• Competent to safely operate a forklift truck, as required
• Assisting in transporting materials with a counter-balance forklift truck
• Loading and unloading wagons with a counterbalance forklift truck
• Able to wear the correct PPE, including safety glasses, and ear protection at all times.

• Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.
• Must have experience of operation a counterbalance forklift truck and have some certifications which can be internal, external, or expired licences.
• Physically fit as some products are heavy.
