Job summary

Aqumen Recruitment is seeking a reliable FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our client’s team on a rotating shift pattern in the UK. The role requires safe FLT operation, daily checks, and basic warehouse tasks, with shifts from 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include stock handling, bagging machine operation, SAP bookings, quality checks, and contributing to continuous improvement. The position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT licence required.
• Previous warehouse, production or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with SAP or stock control systems preferred.
• Good communication and safety-conscious team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT safely and perform daily checks.
• Load, unload and move stock.
• Operate and check bagging machines.
• Change bagging machine rolls.
• Scan and book finished products on SAP.
• Check orders, stock and cage requirements.
• Ensure products meet customer specs.
• Follow fast-track order procedures.
• Keep the line and warehouse tidy.
• Report quality issues to the Team Leader/Shift Manager.
• Support continuous improvement and problem solving.

FLT Counterbalance Driver

£13.32 per hour
06:00 – 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00 Rotating shifts
Monday to Friday

We’re looking for a reliable FLT Driverto join our clients team on a rotating shift pattern.

What you'll be doing:

• Operating an FLT safely and completing daily checks

• Loading, unloading and moving stock

• Operating and checking bagging machines

• Changing bagging machine rolls

• Scanning and booking finished products onto SAP

• Checking orders, stock and cage requirements

• Ensuring products meet customer specifications

• Following fast-track order procedures

• Keeping your line and warehouse area clean and tidy

• Reporting quality issues and problems to the Team Leader/Shift Manager

• Supporting continuous improvement and problem solving

We're looking for:

• Valid FLT licence

• Previous warehouse, production or manufacturing experience

• Experience using SAP or stock control systems preferred

• Basic Maths & English

• Good computer skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Good communication skills

• Physically fit and able to work under pressure
