The Best Connection is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver in the United Kingdom. The role involves picking, packing, re-boxing and re-labelling to prepare goods for distribution, and operating a counterbalance forklift to support daily warehouse operations.

A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is essential for this position. This is an ongoing temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. Hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
• Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.
• Ability to undertake manual handling duties as required.

Responsabilités

• Picking, packing and preparing carrier bags and packaging products for distribution.
• Re-boxing and re-labelling goods accurately in line with company requirements.
• Operating a counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently to move, load and organise stock.
• Checking products for accuracy, quality and damage before dispatch.
• Ensuring goods are packaged securely and correctly labelled for delivery.
• Loading, unloading and moving stock as required.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Assisting with stock organisation and general warehouse duties as required.
• Working efficiently to meet daily targets and distribution deadlines.
