Job summary

Driver Hire Burton in Burton-on-Trent is seeking a Forklift Truck Driver to operate a counterbalance forklift outdoors within a busy packing and fulfilment operation that handles premium alcohol products. The role involves joining a 3-shift rotating system with mornings, afternoons and nights.

A valid FLT CB Licence with RTITB or ITSSAR accreditation is required, plus a minimum of 6 months’ experience and the ability to complete required paperwork.

Qualifications

• A valid FLT CB Licence - RTITB or ITSSAR accredited
• Minimum 6 months experience
• Be able to complete any paperwork that may be required
• Experience in a similar role
• Clamp attachment and double handler experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.

FLT Driver

£13.20 - £15.13 per hour

We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity with a well-established client right in the heart of Burton. If you're looking for a role that keeps you active and offers long-term stability, this could be the perfect fit.

You’ll be part of a busy packing and fulfilment operation that handles premium alcohol products. Your role involves working outdoors, loading trailers using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck-ideal for those who enjoy hands-on work in a dynamic environment.

This role will operate on a 3-shift rotating system which requires you to work the following shifts/days:

• Mornings 06:00am - 14:00pm (Mon - Fri)
• Afternoons 14:00pm - 22:00pm (Mon - Fri)
• Nights 22:00pm - 06:00am (Sun - Thurs)

• A medical & driving assessment will be required with the client before being offered the role.

Pay Rates:

• £13.20 ph on Morning - Afternoon shifts.
• £13.50 ph on Night Shift.
• Holiday pay included in hourly rate available.
• Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours.

Job Requirements:
