Job summary

Emberwood, located at the heart of Francis Hotel Bath, is seeking an experienced Floor Manager to lead the evening and weekend service. You will drive guest satisfaction, manage floor operations, and mentor junior staff within Emberwood.

The role requires a passion for food and beverage, with at least 1 year in a comparable position. Benefits include meals, shift allowances, and development opportunities within the Sutton group.

Qualifications

• Experience leading floor/restaurant service in a similar setting.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
• Strong guest relations and high-service standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee floor operations during service to ensure smooth, efficient guest experiences.
• Lead and train team members in order of service and allergy procedures.
• Support Head Waiters, Head Hosts and Head Bartenders to maintain high service levels.
• Act as duty manager on shift with operational control of restaurant, bar, terrace and lounge.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards to deliver exquisite guest experiences.
