Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Consultant to join our Sustainable Water Management team in Liverpool. The role focuses on delivering flood risk assessment projects, contributing to major infrastructure projects, and mentoring junior team members.

You will perform flood risk assessments, support various environmental assessments, and manage project activities. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in flood risk management and a degree in a related discipline.

Qualifications

• Experience of Flood Risk Assessment preparation, including flood risk strategy development.
• Knowledge of the regulatory context for flood risk planning in the UK.
• Experience in supporting project management.

Responsibilities

• Undertake flood risk assessments and prepare project deliverables.
• Support complementary projects and develop skills in sustainable drainage design.
• Communicate effectively with the project team and support junior staff.
