Job summary

Ascent Flight Training (Management) Ltd is seeking a dedicated Training Scheduler to join its scheduling team, supporting flying operations by day and night. You will plan classrooms, synthetics and live sorties using modern IT systems, ensuring timely and accurate flight programmes.

The role requires experience in a complex aviation environment, strong communication, and the ability to prioritise under pressure. A flexible, collaborative mindset and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex, fast-paced scheduling environment.
• Strong communication and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in aviation operations.

Responsibilities

• Write a busy training schedule covering classroom, synthetics and live flying sorties using IT systems.
• Control a dynamic aircraft scheduling plan liaising with supervisors, aircrew and partners.
• Maintain accurate records and report sorties and any failures or cancellations using reporting systems.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to deliver daily flying programme requirements on time.
• Schedule and deliver night flying programme when required.
• Provide data and progress reports for performance reporting requirements.
• Work with Training Management to maximise course output.
• Respond to aviation emergencies in a timely and calm manner.
