Job summary

Ascent Flight Training (Management) Ltd is seeking a Training Scheduler to support flying operations. You will schedule classroom, synthetics and live flying sorties to enable day and night missions.

The role requires strong communication, prioritisation under pressure, and experience in a busy aviation environment. Security Check clearance is required.

This full-time role (40 hours per week) offers a stable Monday to Friday schedule with flexible working arrangements considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy, complex scheduling within aviation or similar environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritise under pressure.
• Ability to coordinate across teams, supervisors and partners.

Responsibilities

• Write a busy training schedule covering classroom, synthetics and live flying sorties using IT systems.
• Control a dynamic aircraft scheduling plan, liaising with flying supervisors, aircrew and partners.
• Maintain records of sorties and report failures or cancellations using correct systems.
• Work with the customer and partners to deliver daily flying programme requirements on time.
• Schedule and deliver night flying when required.
• Provide data and progress reports for performance reporting needs.
• Collaborate with Training Management to maximise course output.
• Respond to aviation emergencies in a timely and calm manner.
