Job summary

Aspire People is actively seeking Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join nurseries in Selly Oak. You will support 0-5 year olds with care, education and development in a safe, nurturing setting.

We offer flexible full-time, part-time and term-time opportunities with weekly shifts tailored to your availability. Experience in nurseries and a solid EYFS knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification essential.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification or willingness to complete.
• Previous nursery/early years experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Support learning, development and wellbeing of 0-5 year olds following EYFS.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment that encourages learning.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities for development.
• Observe and support individual needs and progression.
• Maintain safeguarding, health, safety and wellbeing standards.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Contribute to observations and learning journeys.
