Job summary

Aspire People are delighted to be working with a range of reputable nursery settings around Harborne, seeking enthusiastic Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work full-time or part-time with flexible shifts to fit your availability.

You will provide high-quality care and support to children aged 0-5, following the EYFS framework, while developing your career in childcare and collaborating with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare is essential.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Experience in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Paediatric First Aid is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 in line with the EYFS framework.
• Provide high-quality care and support to children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Create engaging, stimulating and age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Plan and participate in activities that support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
• Recognise and respond to each child's individual needs, interests and stage of development.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence, communication and social skills.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of all children.
