Aspire People is working with reputable nursery chains to recruit enthusiastic Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioners for roles in Smethwick. Positions include flexible full-time and part-time shifts across various nursery settings, with supportive Aspire People guidance throughout.

You will provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5, supporting their development in a safe and nurturing environment. Commitment to safeguarding is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (essential).
• Previous nursery/early years experience.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Caring, patient and positive approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexible and proactive approach to working hours and responsibilities.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 in line with EYFS.
• Create a safe, welcoming, stimulating and nurturing environment for learning.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities promoting development.
• Recognise and support children's individual needs, interests and stages of development.
• Encourage children to develop confidence, independence, communication and social skills.
• Assist with planning and implementing activities to support learning and development.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents and carers.
