Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers, delivering letters and parcels in your community.

As a Post Person with Driving, you will drive a Royal Mail van across your delivery area and walk parts of the route, providing reliable service come rain or shine.

A full UK driving licence with no more than six points, the ability to lift up to 16 kg, and the flexibility to work varying shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk long distances and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area.
• Walk portions of your route and drive a Royal Mail van to complete deliveries.
• Handle and deliver election materials and restricted items in line with Royal Mail standards.
