Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine and driving a Royal Mail van on your round.

Roles require a full, manual UK driving licence (max 6 points), the ability to walk up to 20,000 steps per day, and the flexibility to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of your round, representing Royal Mail in the community.
• Drive the delivery van and complete parts of the route on foot to ensure timely, safe deliveries.
• Handle and deliver election materials and items such as food products or alcohol in line with Royal Mail standards.
