Job summary

Angard Recruitment is recruiting for flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to support the Royal Mail. The role involves driving a Royal Mail van across your delivery area, with parts of the route completed on foot, delivering letters and parcels in all weather.

You’ll need a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points, good physical fitness, and the ability to work flexible shifts. Training and a driving assessment are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels along your route, combining driving and walking.
• Ensure secure delivery and handover of items in line with Royal Mail standards.
