Job summary

Angard Recruitment is hiring flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers for Royal Mail. You will drive a Royal Mail van, deliver letters and parcels, and also walk parts of your route to complete deliveries in your community.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points), physical fitness for long walking days, and the ability to adapt shifts at short notice. A driving assessment is required on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; adapt at short notice.
• Pass a driving assessment when you start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels around your community as a Royal Mail driver.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Clearly handle election materials and other items per business standards.
• Keep customers and colleagues informed and provide reliable service.
