Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers through Angard Recruitment. You will deliver letters and parcels in your community, combining driving a van with on-foot duties to complete routes in all weather.

Expect varied shifts and a drive-focused role that keeps communities connected; you will be assessed on driving ability and customer service as part of a dynamic frontline service.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; need team players who adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your round, face-to-face with the community.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot, ensuring items reach destinations safely.
