Job summary

Royal Mail, in partnership with Angard Recruitment, is seeking flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in the United Kingdom. You will drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot while delivering letters and parcels to the community.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence with up to 6 points, fitness to walk long distances, and adaptability to varying shift patterns. Driving assessment is part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of a Royal Mail round, driving a delivery van and walking parts of the route.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials and restricted items per Royal Mail standards.
• Provide excellent service in all weather, maintain punctuality and safety throughout the shift.
