Job summary

Angard Recruitment is hiring flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to join the Royal Mail team. You will be the face of the service in your community, delivering letters and parcels across your round.

Expect shifts that vary (early, day, evening, night) and the requirement to pass a driving assessment. A UK manual driving licence with up to six points is essential, and you should be physically active throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels around your delivery area, come rain or shine.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete route parts on foot to provide exceptional service.
• Securely deliver all items on your route and handle election materials in line with standards.
