Job summary

Angard Recruitment is recruiting flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers for Royal Mail. You will drive a Royal Mail van on your route, with significant walking as part of daily duties, delivering letters and parcels across your community.

The role requires a full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points, and the stamina to walk long distances while loading and unloading mail. Shifts vary, offering flexible hours to suit your lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route, driving a Royal Mail van and walking parts of your route.
• Ensure election materials and certain items are delivered in line with Royal Mail business standards.
• Provide exceptional service and deliver items safely to their destination.
