Job summary

Angard Recruitment is seeking flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to join the Royal Mail team. You will drive a Royal Mail van on your round, deliver letters and parcels, and complete parts of your route on foot in your community.

This role suits active people who enjoy being outdoors. A full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points is required, along with the ability to walk and carry bags up to 16 kg; a driving assessment is completed at start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels while representing Royal Mail in the community.
• Drive and deliver items securely, on route, with some walking and on-foot sections.
