Job summary

Choice Care Group is hiring a Social Care Worker in Gosport. The role involves 36 hours per week with shift work and weekend rota. Full training is provided with career development paths and in-house courses, including care worker level qualifications.

You will support adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs, building trust, maintaining records, and joining in activities while adhering to policies and ensuring residents are safe, happy and engaged.

Qualifications

• Willing to train with in-house programmes.
• Patience, reliability and strong communication are essential.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care including bathing, toileting, dressing and feeding assistance.
• Medication administration in line with care plans.
• Supporting residents in daily activities, hobbies or outings.
