Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to work with children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs across the UK. Roles include in-person, online, and hybrid teaching in Maths, English, or Science, with flexible hours and a trauma-informed approach.

Ideal candidates hold QTS/QTLS, have 2+ years of teaching experience, and hold an Enhanced DBS with references. The role is self-employed, with opportunities for flexible scheduling and career development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, preferably with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is required
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references are needed

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs
• Plan and report on lessons and provide regular feedback on progress
• Deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to individual learners
• Contribute to safeguarding and create a safe learning environment
