Job summary

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Band 4 Booking and Scheduling Coordinator for 28 hours per week. The role involves high-quality, efficient service for elective patients, coordinating pre-operative and anaesthetic assessments, and ensuring patients are prepared for theatre, endoscopy, and outpatient lists.

Close liaison with nursing teams, cancer teams, and clinicians is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating pre-operative assessment and theatre bookings.
• Ability to liaise with nursing colleagues, cancer teams, clinicians and patients.
• Demonstrates initiative and professional decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reports and booking of outpatient/inpatient theatre and endoscopy procedures.
• Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings and record relevant patient information.
• Provide regular updates regarding patients on waiting lists.
• Support the Booking & Scheduling Team in management of Elective waiting lists.
