Job summary

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a proactive Scheduler to join the Surgery Division. You will support the Head & Neck Team by organising theatre and outpatient treatment lists, ensuring RTT rules are followed and cancer targets are achieved.

You will work closely with clinicians, team leaders and the clinical nursing staff to maintain efficient booking and communication flows. The role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to adapt to changing lists and

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Flexible to the needs of the service and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Accurate and methodical approach to scheduling and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritise and organise theatre and outpatient treatment lists.
• Ensure cancer targets are achieved and RTT rules are followed.
• Coordinate between clinicians, nurses and admin teams to maximise theatre utilisation.
• Maintain efficient telephone and appointment booking workflows.
