Job summary

RAC is hiring a Superflex Roadside Patrol to support members with roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdowns across the UK. You’ll work a varied shift pattern including evenings, weekends and peak periods, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

The role offers a strong base pay (£55,869.82) with an achievable OTE (£63,200), London weighting as applicable, and a structured development path including IMI accreditation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassure members.
• Diagnose faults, solve problems, and support versatile shifts.
