Job summary

RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Patrol to provide expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, resolve issues quickly, and support members with safe, reliable journeys.

We offer structured development, hands-on learning and IMI accreditation opportunities, plus a flexible schedule across days, evenings, weekends and peak periods to match member demand.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to keep members moving.
• Work a varied shift pattern including days, evenings, weekends and peak demand periods to meet member demand.
