Job summary

RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Patrol in the Newcastle cluster to provide expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, deliver quick, confident solutions and help members get back on the road while working a shift pattern that includes evenings, weekends and peak demand periods.

You’ll join a structured development programme with hands-on learning, ongoing support and opportunities to achieve IMI accreditation,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to help members continue their journeys.
• Work independently to diagnose faults and support the member when needed.
• Operate a varied shift pattern including evenings, weekends and peak demand periods.
