Job summary

Academics Agency is seeking experienced HLTA candidates to work across Eastbourne primary schools, covering EYFS to KS2 and supporting learning in a dynamic classroom environment.

You will lead lessons, deliver PPA and general cover, support small groups and individuals, and work closely with class teachers and the wider school team.

Salary will be determined by qualifications and experience in line with the client's pay policy.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA.
• HLTA qualification/status is desirable.
• Confident leading lessons and managing a classroom.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Leading lessons and activities when required.
• Providing PPA and general classroom cover.
• Supporting small groups and individual pupils.
• Working alongside class teachers and the wider school team.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required.
