Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd. is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for flexible work across Littlehampton schools.

You will support teachers with engaging lessons, lead whole-class and small-group activities, and provide targeted support to pupils with additional learning needs. The role offers day-to-day supply, short-term placements or longer assignments, with safeguarding at the core and a focus on pupil development.

Qualifications

• Experience as HLTA, TA or similar role.
• Passionate about supporting children and young people.
• Confident leading learning activities and managing classrooms.
• Reliable, adaptable and able to use initiative.
• Patient, enthusiastic and committed to pupil development.
• Available for flexible work across Littlehampton.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Lead whole-class, small-group and one-to-one activities.
• Provide targeted support to pupils with additional learning needs.
• Take responsibility for learning activities when required.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Help manage positive classroom behaviour and maintain a supportive environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Adapt confidently to different schools, year groups and pupil needs.
• Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.
