Academics is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support primary schools in Dartford and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible supply work across a range of settings, with PPA cover and pupil progress interventions.

You will adapt to different classes, maintain positive classroom environments, and collaborate with teachers to ensure continuity of learning while benefiting from a local consultant and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• HLTA with proven experience in primary settings.
• Confident, reliable and adaptable in busy environments.
• Strong behaviour management and pupil progression focus.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across primary school settings.
• Deliver engaging activities and pupil interventions.
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups.
• Cover classes and PPA when required.
• Work with staff to ensure continuity of learning and a positive classroom.
• Adapt quickly to different schools and year groups.
