Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming Primary School in Rotherham to appoint a dedicated HLTA. The role starts 1st September and involves providing whole class cover when teachers are absent and delivering planned learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

The successful candidate will have HLTA status, QTS or an equivalent qualification (ECTs are welcome), experience supporting learning in a UK primary school, and strong classroom management and communication skills. DBS compliance is required.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or QTS or equivalent required.
• Experience supporting teaching and learning in a UK primary school.
• Confidence delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Experience leading small group interventions and 1:1 tuition.

Responsibilities

• Provide whole class cover in the absence of teachers.
• Deliver planned learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Support pupils through small group interventions and 1:1 tuition.
• Adhere to safeguarding requirements and DBS compliance.
