The Guildhall and Barrow Surgery is looking for an experienced practice nurse to join our friendly team. Hours and days are negotiable across two sites, with a supportive working environment.

You will deliver general practice nursing, manage chronic conditions per protocols, perform phlebotomy, ECGs, vaccinations, wound care and health promotion, while maintaining compassionate patient care and NHS standards.

Competenze

• Qualified nurse with current NMC registration and active PIN.
• Nursing degree holder eligible to practise in the UK.
• Experience or qualification in asthma, COPD and diabetes clinic delivery.
• Evidence of clinical skills in phlebotomy, ECG recording, vaccinations and immunisations, wound care and long-term condition management.
• Empathetic, patient-focused approach valuing patient dignity and collaboration with NHS colleagues.
• Understanding of current NHS nursing issues and challenges.

Mansioni

• Deliver general practice nursing to the practice population.
• Assist in routine patient care tasks as directed by GPs.
• Work at both Guildhall and Barrow sites.
• Manage chronic diseases per established protocols.
• Provide care for CHD, contraception, hypertension, wound care and injections.
• Perform venepuncture, urine testing and immunisations.
• Carry out health promotion and patient education.
• Support emergency care and first aid as required.
• Conduct new patient medicals, screening and cytology sampling.
