Job summary

Keighley Road Surgery is a well-established GP practice seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly clinical team. You will deliver a wide range of nursing services and take a proactive approach to patient care, contributing to high quality care for our list of around 10,500 patients.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
Experience as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting.
Knowledge and skills in chronic disease management.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

Chronic disease management (diabetes, asthma, COPD).
Cervical cytology.
Childhood and adult immunisations.
Wound care and dressings.
Contraceptive advice.
NHS Health Checks and screening.
Health promotion and lifestyle advice.
Infection prevention and control.
Support for meeting QOF, IIF, and quality targets.
Support training and development for nurses and HCAs where experience allows.
