Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Customer Team Member in Hartburn to join our store team. You will deliver friendly service on the shop floor and tills, stock shelves, check prices and assist with daily operations to ensure a great shopping experience for customers.

The role requires flexible availability across the week, including at least one weekend shift. Full, paid training is provided, with a 12-hour weekly base and regular overtime on a 3-month temporary contract.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (no formal experience required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service on the shop floor and tills.
• Help keep shelves stocked, check prices and stock accuracy.
• Support daily operations to create a great shopping experience.
• Contribute to stock and pricing checks and maintain store safety and compliance.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support local community initiatives.
• Collaborate with the team to keep the store running smoothly.
