Job summary

Co-op is hiring a Customer Team Member in Wigan to join a friendly team in a busy local store. You will help deliver essential services, including potential duties in post office, bakery, or online order packing, aiming to make life easier for customers.

Full training provided, part-time 16 hours per week with regular overtime. Weekend shifts required and some flexible scheduling discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and busy store environments (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service while running day-to-day store tasks.
• Work with the team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Operate on shop floor and tills and support daily operations for a great shopping experience.
• Keep shelves stocked and check prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Ensure store safety and legal compliance with correct prices and temperatures.
• Promote Co-op membership and support the local community.
