Job summary

Co‑op is hiring a Customer Team Member for a part-time role in Bentham. You’ll join a friendly team delivering essential services and helping customers on the shop floor, at tills, or in post/bakery services depending on the store.

The role includes afternoon to late-evening shifts with at least one weekend shift, a permanent contract, full paid training, and access to Co‑op benefits including discount and pension.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not required).

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of the store with friendly, thoughtful service.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Attend tills and shop floor and contribute to daily operations for a great shopping experience.
• Help maintain stock, check prices, dates and stock accuracy.
• Ensure store safety and legality, with correct prices and temperatures where applicable.
• Promote Co‑op Membership and support the local community.
