Job summary

United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a friendly Receptionist (Band 2) for Grantham Outpatients. You will be the first point of contact, greeting patients, checking in for appointments and guiding them through the clinic journey. The role is based at Grantham Hospital with standard NHS working patterns.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
• CLAIT or European Computer Driving Licence or equivalent.
• Experience of working in a customer care or reception environment.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients attending clinics and direct them to the correct area.
• Provide directions and signpost patients to services such as pharmacy.
• Support car parking and Blue Badge registration where required.
• Update patient details on Trust systems to ensure accuracy.
• Complete clinic e-outgoing / “cash up” in line with SOPs.
