Job summary

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting friendly, organised Receptionists (Band 2) to support outpatient clinics across Lincolnshire. The Radiology reception role is based at Lincoln County Hospital in Lincoln with weekend cover on a rotational basis.

The post offers flexible working and diverse shift patterns. You will be the first point of contact for patients, carers and visitors, handling check-ins, directing to services, and providing essential administrative support to

Qualifications

• GCSE (Grade C or above) in Maths and English (or equivalent qualification) OR NVQ Level 2 in relative subject, i.e. Customer Care skills or Administration (or equivalent qualification) or at least working towards.
• CLAIT or European Computer Driving Licence or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients attending clinics.
• Provide directions and signpost patients to services such as pharmacy.
• Support car parking and Blue Badge registration where required.
• Update patient details on Trust systems.
• Complete clinic e-outgoing ("cash up") in line with procedures.
• Circulate clinic lists to relevant teams and escalate issues as needed.

Education
