Job summary

Aspire People is partnering with nurseries in the Birmingham area to recruit enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners. We offer flexible full-time and part-time roles to fit around your availability, with opportunities across diverse early years settings.

Ideal candidates hold Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in Early Years/Childcare, have EYFS knowledge and a genuine passion for supporting young children’s development.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare is essential
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting preferred
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 in line with EYFS
• Create a safe, welcoming, stimulating and nurturing environment
• Plan and participate in engaging activities to promote development
• Recognise and support individual needs, interests and stages of development
• Encourage children to develop confidence, independence and communication
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote welfare of all children
