Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for Nursery Practitioners to join reputable nurseries across North Birmingham. Roles include full-time and part-time positions with flexible shifts to suit availability.

Work with children aged 0-5 and contribute to their learning, development and welfare in a safe, nurturing setting. We welcome Level 2/3 qualified candidates with EYFS understanding, a passion for early years, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare - essential.
• Paediatric First Aid - desirable.
• Previous experience in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
• A genuine passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 in line with the EYFS framework.
• Provide high-quality care and support to children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Create engaging, stimulating and age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Plan and participate in activities that support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
• Recognise and respond to each child's individual needs, interests and stage of development.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence, communication and social skills.
• Assist with planning and delivering activities that promote learning and development.
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents and carers.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of all children.
