Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (essential).
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Caring, patient and positive approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 in line with EYFS.
• Create a safe, welcoming, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities promoting development.
• Recognise and support children's individual needs, interests and stages.
• Encourage children to develop confidence, independence, communication and social skills.
• Assist with planning and implementing activities that support learning and development.
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents and carers.
