Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Huddersfield is seeking a Nursery Practitioner for flexible supply work across private day nurseries. You will support children's learning through engaging activities, play and daily routines, with opportunities for longer placements and permanent roles.

The role requires at least 6 months' UK experience and a Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification (desirable). You will join a supportive team and have flexible hours to fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience working with children in the UK.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare or Early Years (desirable).
• Experience in nursery, childcare or Early Years setting.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning through engaging activities, creative play and daily routines.
• Work with experienced nursery teams to create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment.
• Assist with routines and supervision to ensure children's safety.
• Collaborate with staff to plan developmentally appropriate activities.
