Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting Nursery Practitioners to provide flexible cover across private day nurseries in Huddersfield. You will support children's learning through play and daily routines, working with nursery teams in a safe and stimulating environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of UK childcare experience and a Level 2/3 in Childcare or Early Years (desirable). There may be longer-term placements or permanent roles for successful applicants.

Qualifications

• 6 months UK childcare experience
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (desirable)
• Understanding of the EYFS framework
• Passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Ability to use own initiative and adapt to different nursery environments
• Caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach
• Team player

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development through engaging activities, creative play and daily routines
• Work with experienced nursery teams to create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children
