Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to provide flexible supply cover across private day nurseries in Huddersfield. You will support children's learning through engaging activities and collaborate with established nursery teams to maintain a safe, stimulating environment.

Immediate start available, with day-to-day availability and potential longer placements. The role offers flexible hours across full-time or part-time pathways, with competitive rates and access to CPD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience working with children in the UK.
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (desirable).
• Experience in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Ability to use initiative and adapt to different nursery environments.
• Caring, reliable and enthusiastic with teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development through engaging activities.
• Work with nursery teams to create a safe, welcoming environment.
• Deliver daily routines and play to support early years development.
