Job summary

Castle Education is seeking enthusiastic Secondary Learning Support Assistants to work across Bridlington and surrounding areas, supporting pupils in KS3 and KS4. Roles range from day-to-day supply to longer placements, with weekly PAYE pay and holiday benefit.

Choose from full-time, part-time, or ad hoc opportunities across several schools. You’ll build positive relationships, help learners engage with lessons, and support inclusive classroom environments while developing your own skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or SEN support worker
• Ability to support KS3/KS4 learners across subjects and ability levels
• Flexible availability for day-to-day, regular or longer placements

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across KS3 and KS4
• Work with teachers to support learning
• Provide one-to-one and small group support
• Help pupils engage with learning and develop confidence
• Support pupils with additional learning needs
• Create a positive inclusive learning environment
• Maintain positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Support classroom behaviour and a constructive atmosphere
• Adapt support to meet individual pupil needs
