Castle Education is looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to work with primary and secondary schools across Hull and East Yorkshire, supporting children and young people with a range of additionalneeds.
We’re looking for people who understand that progress can look different for every pupil. For one child it might be completing a piece of work independently. For another it could be regulating their emotions, communicating a need, joining their classor simply having a successful day at school.
Your experience could come from mainstream education, SEND schools, alternative provision, residential settings, care, youthworkor another environment where you have supported children or young people with additionalneeds.
The role could involve 1:1 support, working with small groups or providing additional support within the wider classroom.
Patience,consistencyand the ability to build trusting relationships are essential. Relevant school experience is valuable, but we are also interested in transferable experience from other settings.
