Job summary

Castle Education is seeking caring SEND Support Assistants to join primary schools across Bradford and surrounding areas. We offer full-time, part-time, or flexible work with long-term, short-term, and day-to-day placements to suit your schedule.

Responsibilities include supporting pupils with diverse learning needs, delivering lessons under teacher guidance, and helping create a safe, inclusive learning environment while collaborating with teachers and school staff.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in a primary school setting (SEND experience preferred but not essential).
• Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a classroom environment.
• Commitment to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including SEND
• Assist in delivering lessons and classroom activities under the guidance of teachers
• Help create an inclusive, positive, and safe learning environment
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff
