Job summary

National Centre for Social Research is seeking Biomedical Fieldworkers for home visits across the UK. You will conduct phlebotomy-related tasks, take health measurements and record data while maintaining participant confidentiality.

Flexible hours and mileage reimbursement are offered to support research that informs public health decisions. Role requires healthcare exposure, venepuncture experience within 24 months, a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle along with DBS clearance

Qualifications

• Experience within a healthcare or clinical setting.
• Proven venepuncture experience within last 24 months.
• Evidence of DBS check willingness and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Visit participants in their homes at pre-booked appointments.
• Take measurements (height, weight, blood pressure).
• Collect venous blood samples per guidelines.
• Record health data and maintain confidentiality.
• Provide professional, friendly participant experience.
• Support high quality research for public health decisions.
