Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as flexible Delivery Drivers in Richmond DO (North Yorkshire). You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot, come rain or shine.

A full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points is required, along with the stamina to walk long distances and lift mailbags. Shifts vary, and reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route, with some parts on foot.
• Drive the delivery area and ensure items reach destinations safely.
• Handle and deliver election materials and restricted items per standards.
